School Lunch

Katie, Megan and Melissa had an all school BBQ today, so Dallas and I went. We brought them McDonald's (gag me) because the girls call it a "tradition." Mom did it once-but in their minds, it was every year. :) Anyways, we had a good time and I hardly saw Dallas till it was time to go. They all dragged him around, showing him off to their friends. I'm glad they love their nephew! The above photo is of Melissa and Kennedy. They are best friends.

Annie

Oh boy-does she sure miss my Dad when he's gone. And with Dallas here, it makes her even more mad!

On Friday, I sent her out to go to the bathroom and she took off for the park. She didn't come back for over an hour and when she did, I wasn't too happy with her. I let her in and fed Dallas lunch. I started to smell something......like poo.......it stunk.

Turns out that naughty little dog rolled in poo because she was mad. I called Mom before they left on the boat and she confirmed it. Annie will roll in the poo or dig holes when Dad leaves. LOVELY.

I spent the next hour, scrubbing her down (with gloves on) and getting her clean. I thought I only had to take care of 5 kids, not 6!

**Annie is our lovely black lab. She's adorable....sometimes.

Garage Sale = Hot, Cranky, TIRED kids.....

I think the title says it all. It was a hot day! We did manage to sell some crap, and I managed to buy only ONE thing. (Toby would be so proud)

I have to plan a lesson for church tomorrow. Get to teach Melissa's Sunday School class! (with Dallas in tow, this should be interesting). Melissa making homemade frosting for the donuts. That is what she sold with Megan. They were quite yummy.

Getting all of stuff out to sell. Katie in the background giving the peace sign.

"Um.....I'm hot! Come buy our crap!" I don't think she knew I was taking a photo of her!

The aftermath--we were so hot! All of us took showers that night to get all the sweat off. We gave Dallas a popsicle. I'm not sure how much he actually ate though...the rest was all over his onsie and bib. The photo is only the beginning of the mess.

Alaska

Good thing kids come one at a time.....because if they came five (named Andrew, Katie, Megan, Melissa and Dallas) at at time-I'd never have them!

At home babysitting my siblings while my parents are chillin' on an Alaskan Cruise. My grandma turns 80 this year-and they celebrated big! I sure hope they have a great time. Meanwhile, I am learning to have more patience. Enough said about that.....

I swear we'll head to the hospital sometime this week. Dallas has gotten more bumps and bruises in the two days that we have been here than in his whole life. He is an active little boy who doesn't understand sharp corners and his walking is a little like a drunken sailor. Silly kid.

Off to get some shut eye-tomorrow is the BIGGEST GARAGE SALE known to man. The WHOLE city of Liberty Lake is having their annual garage sale. Lovely how my parents choose to leave this weekend.....hmmmmm. We have a few items to sell and the girls are making homemade donuts.

Night!

Oreo Cookies

Yum! Dallas had some Oreo Cookies for dessert last night.....

He wasn't too sure about what was on his hands. He doesn't like to be messy for too long.

AHHHHHHH!!!! Today my baby got a hair cut. I didn't plan on him being bald---it just ended up that way. BOO HOO. To make him (me) feel better, we had more Oreos. Can't go wrong with those yummy cookies and big glass of milk.

Messy little boy.
I think he loved them. He had to take a bath afterwards because he was so messy-but that's okay. We had a good night.

Goody's

To top off Toby's birthday, we spent the evening with our friends at Goody's. It's an old fashioned ice-cream parlor on 13th street. We had a great time hanging out with them and catching up. After ice-cream, we were still a little bit hungry so Renee, Jothan and Toby and I went out for nachos! Good times, good times. Thanks for celebrating Toby's 29th!!
Left to Right---Renee, Toby, Tammy and Dallas, Heather and Brandon, Jothan, Heidi, and Annie. These guys are the best!!!

Happy Birthday, Toby!!!

Happy Birthday Toby! Today he turned 29 years old. He started off the day golfing with Tory (his twin) and they had a great time. Toby said that it was a great day to golf--not too hot or windy and that he did really good. Then he came home to a happy baby and presents! He got a new Nike shirt and some biking music for his ipod.

Off to Tucanos Brazilian Grill with Tory and Elizabeth. It's a churrasco which is where they bring all kinds of grilled meats to your table. It was pretty yummy!! There we gave the boys gift certificates for.......golf (what else?!?!) They were pretty happy about that one. I'm not to sure about us girls. We'll be losing our husbands for the next month while the boys go golfing as much as they possibly can!

Dallas wasn't too sure about the food-then he gobbled it right up. He is a good little eater and loves fruit and meat. Notice his bib?? :)

Love the look Michelle gave us! She would not smile for the camera. She is wearing her Brasil outfit that we got when we had gone to Rio.

Tory, Ryker, Elizabeth and Michelle. All decked out in Brasil colors!!!
Our little fam.

The whole gang!
Toby's favorite drink! It's a pop called Guarana. I'm not a big fan, but he sure likes it.

Now we're off to Goody's. A yummy ice-cream place to celebrate some more!

"It's Your Day!"

There is a pizza place called Flying Pie Pizzaria here in Boise that every day is "Your Day." If your name is on the sign, you can come in and make a FREE pizza! Well, it wasn't our names, but it did say "If you were born in June" you get a free pizza--so in we went! Toby's birthday is on Friday and therefore, he got to make a free pizza. They only take the first 5 people from 8-10pm so we hustled in there as fast as we could. Turns out they had a ton of people so they took 20! Good thing, because we were number 13. We had never been there before and their food is sooooo yummy! You have to wear a funky hat and an apron. Toby chose the cowboy hat and it made him look so tall!

Dallas wanted in on the action. He isn't feeling too good and had a fever. He was such a little rascal the whole night. Usually he is so easy to take out to dinner, but not tonight. I'm glad that he doesn't act like this very often. I bribed him with soooooo many treats and he still was a stinker! Yea for Tylenol.

They post the names on the website, so you can check in advance. "6/3 Born in June?" That's Toby!

Smashin' the dough

He got to toss it! Look how great he did. The lady next to him was helping him make the pizza.

The best thing about making it, was that you could put whatever you wanted on it and however much you wanted! His pizza was LOADED! Fresh basil, mozzarella, cheddar, provolone, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, pineapple, sausage and hot sausage and a little bit of garlic.

Love this--a jar of garlic.......

Looks good!!!
Not a happy camper.
YUM!
Outside the restaurant

Here's the sign that they change everyday. Know any Dusty's? It's their day tomorrow.

A yummy night. Figured I'd better get in one of the photos! What a great way to start off his birthday weekend!
