Halloween 09 was GREAT!
Too stinkin' cute! Megan needed to bring treats to her last soccer game (which was on Halloween morning) so Mom found these to make! They were so easy and fun to decorate. Got to love the green frosting! We used white frosting and mini chocolate chips for the eyes.

Mom made two adorable little "boo" crafts for Halloween this year. When she was walking in the living room, she noticed something wrong.....

Hmmmm......as she walks upstairs, she sees it.
"ANDREW!!!!!!!!!" He had stolen the B from downstairs and put it with the boo upstairs to make boob. Very funny mister. 
"What? I didn't do anything!"
Then he takes two little pumpkin candles and placed them right by it. Lovely. And how old are you again buddy?! :) Very clever and it made us all laugh. Silly boy.
There, that's better. Candle and letters where they should. I love both boo signs and lucky for me, mom made me some! Speaking of laundry from my last post........
Guess it's a tradition each time I'm pregnant to wash a full load of nothing. If you don't know what I'm talking about--read this post from when I was preggo with Dallas. Silly girl.
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Thornton for my cute shirt! I am a tough guy. I have been climbing on EVERYTHING!!!! 
Playing with my awesome farm. It even makes sounds! The cow and pig sounds are my favorite.
He's so happy that he climbed up on the couch. He loves to climb on everything he can. Yesterday, I'm in the laundry room and I hear him yelling. I turn my head and guess who is standing on my kitchen table!?!??! How the heck did he get up there? I laughed and then told him to get down. He certainly keeps me on my toes. What will he climb next???
After decorating for Halloween, I just threw the box in my room to get it out of the way. I heard some noise and went in to see what Mr. D was doing. He had pushed the box and made it open and was crawling back and forth. He thought it was so funny.

We had such a great time at Boo at the Zoo! We went with Tory and Elizabeth and their kiddo's. The kids were able to wear their Halloween costumes so we got to try out Dallas' Pooh costume. He was so dang cute! When he saw the costume he got all excited because he knew what it was. I still don't know how he came to love Pooh so much, but it sure is cute.

Dallas and Daddy on the Merry-Go-Round. He wasn't too sure of it at first, and held on to Toby pretty tight. He started to like it at the end.
The gang. My camera's battery died, but luckily Elizabeth had hers so I was still able to capture some photos. They gave you bags when you first walked in and you were able to go trick-or-treating all over the zoo. We came home with lots of yummy candy!

For a treat, the zoo gives all the animals a pumpkin. They said it tastes sweet to the animals, so it is a fun way for them to share the holiday. The lions had all of their pumpkins smashed. But this bird would just peck at his. All the pumpkins were carved too! Bet that took a lot of time.
Cutest little Pooh Bear I've ever seen! I love how his belly is big too. It was filled with stuffing. 
The day was beautiful, not too cold so all the animals were out and about. The lions were Dallas' favorite. He kept growling at them. He is such a smart boy and knows what lots of the animals say. 
We found Tigger!! Notice Dallas' face. He isn't too sure of this dude. It's pretty funny.

6:40 came waaaaaaay too early today. He is waking up earlier and earlier despite what time I put him to bed the night before.

The only way to keep him from destructing the whole house! Sometimes it makes him so mad, and other times he just gives up and puts his head down. It's not like we live in a huge place, so when things are out of order---it gets messy fast!
We went to Costco today (something I will never do again-almost as bad as Saturdays!) and he was wearing this shirt and some man stopped me and said, "Is that shirt true?" I just laughed and said-you bet ya! I am exhausted ALL THE TIME. I'm also due in 9 weeks. I think it's legit to be tired. 
The cow train!!! We had planned on Toby taking Dallas but he was too tall and didn't fit the barrel!!! Not something a big pregnant woman wants to do.......but someone had to take Dallas. :) Let's just say I had to go to the bathroom the moment we were done. It sure was bumpy but Dallas loved it so much we did it twice!
He wanted to ride the tractor. He loves those things and when we went to get on, he went straight for it! He wasn't happy to be in the barrel at first, but then really liked it. Silly boy. 
Smile for Daddy! It was a pretty cute ride for the kids. He would've stayed on it all day had we let him.
Didn't want to get out. Glad he enjoyed it. 
Off to the petting zoo!!! They had a baby cow, lots of sheep and goats, a 3 month old camel, llama, and a small horse. Dallas loved the animals. We spent quite a bit of time in there. 
He was a nervous at first, since the animals came right up to you. They knew you were going to feed them. Even though this photo is blurry, it's one of my favorites. I didn't know the llama was standing so close and it scared the crap out of me when I turned around! I will say that I didn't think he was going to be very soft, but he was. And hungry. Licked my hand clean every time. Gross. Good thing we could wash our hands afterwards!!!

He LOVED the baby cow. He has always loved them and when we go on trips to Utah or Rexburg, we pass a lot of dairy farms and he screams the whole time for us to see the cows! He would moo at the cow when we were close to him. 
Even Dallas fed the animals! I think it scared him but he still did it. He would hold his hand flat and let the baby goats lick off the food. Brave little man.

This baby goat was walking around and trying to get anyone to feed him. He jumped right up on Dallas and Toby. Cute little guy. 
After the petting zoo, we watched the horses-this is so cute of Dallas. He loved seeing them until one got a little too close. Then I grabbed him!

Little hay maze! This was so funny to watch, because Dallas' head it just barely hit over the hay bales. You could see his yellow hat bobbing up and down as he ran around. There were a million kids in the maze and he had a great time chasing them around. It was hard to get a photo because he was running so much.

Yea! I did it! What a happy boy. The smallest things make him so excited and happy.
Trying to get him to stay still AND smile is a joke. But here he is in his cute little pumpkin shirt. 
We wanted a family photo but at that point, we were the only ones in the maze so I just propped it up on a hay bale. It only took 3 shots to get a good one. Notice that even Dallas is looking!?!? Wahoo!
Going to see the tractors. This one is huge! He loves them and was able to sit in a few. 
It had just sprinkled and the lighting was PERFECT for taking this shot. Love the red against the blue sky. I love photography and don't do it enough. 
Off to the hay ride! We did this three times and once again, Dallas baby loved it. He would've preferred to ride the tractors, but we'll take what we can get. The weather was typical Idaho-sunny one minute, raining the next, windy, cloudy, sunny!

We asked someone to take our photo and it's even in focus! Too bad the little dude isn't looking. It was such a fun night out. Things sure are different when you have a little one. Everything is more exciting and more real. I love the fall and Halloween, but this year has been the best! With Dallas around, I get to re-experience it in a way.
