McCall Part 3

Here are the rest of the photos.  Some of the sculptures are hard to see but they all were really cool.
Brown Tie and Lumber with a cute little bear in front.

Friday night they had a big kick off for the festival.  We went and watch the fireworks and had a great night.  It was PACKED!!!  I was amazed at how many people come up to tiny McCall for this festival.  I guess last year they had around 50,000 people show up for the week.  Crazy.  We bought Dallas a light sword.  He's fighting the dragons.

 Make the dragons be nice!!!

 Cute smile.

Crazy lovebirds.  We need a vacation of our own! (without kids)

Climbed a hill and was figuring out what slide to go down.  Love the tongue sticking out.

All three boys going down the hill together.

 They had a great time.

This one was steep.  But Dallas loved it.

 Happy Boy!

 Such cute boys.

 Mom and Wes

Fish with a hook in it.

Wes conked out-- he was one tired boy.  Too bad he half screamed/yelled almost the whole way home.

The fire station!!!  Dallas loves fire trucks and was excited to see this one.

Sitting on the chair lift.  Skis are in the back.

 Cool train.
House Call.  This was in front of St. Lukes.  Small hospital!

Doc even has a cross on his bag.  This one was pretty cool.

Another train.  This one had steam coming out.

 Birthday Cake

 Dallas LOVED this truck.

"Sharlie" the famous Lock Nest Monster.  We found him everywhere.

Last sculpture- the men are fishing and they caught Sharlie's tail.  Little did they know Sharlie was about to attack them!

We had a fabulous time.  No agenda, no time frame--just chillin' as a family.  Swimming and snow-a great combo!

McCall Part 2

We went swimming every night and had so much fun!  They boys really loved the pool and the hot tub.  It was a great way to end the day.

Trying to get them both to look and smile is such a joke!  Especially when there's water involved.

If I'm in the kitchen, the dudes like to play here.  Not sure why, it doesn't even look comfortable!

Another timed fam photo.  We're getting good at these!

Had to throw this one in.  We kept telling Dallas to smile at the red light and this one we told him he could stick out his tongue.  He did it!!  We didn't think he would.
Mom with her babes.
Kids Carnival!  Dallas and Daddy rode the Carousel together.  I couldn't ride it since I'm pregnant.
But I could ride the ferris wheel?!  I'm not a fan of heights but Dallas didn't want to ride with Toby.  He wanted to ride with me.
Toby tried to get photos of me not looking happy.  It was high!  I was scared-Dallas wasn't.
Flying Saucer!

Wes' turn!
There were almost 40 ice sculptures this year.  We only missed 1 (because we couldn't find it)
McCall was celebrating 100 years.  So many of the sculptures had to do with that theme.
We ran into some friends from our ward and had them snap a family photo.  This was a funny one.  I love the outhouses!
Another view.  The man in on the toilet and a bear is peaking up on him.

This was a cool log cabin.  You could even go inside!

Hi Dad!!!

Thomas the Engine!  Dallas knows that his cousin Ryker loves Thomas so he was so excited to get a photo for him.
Isn't it cool?  When it's cloudy it is hard to get a detailed photo of the sculptures.  None of my photos do justice but you get the idea.
Small slide off the back of the train.

The boys inside the train.

McCall Winter Festival 1

We made it!!  Wish my flash would've been on but cute photo anyways.  We decided to spend Wed-Sat up in McCall for my birthday and for the Winter Festival.  It was so much fun!  We were able to get a great rate and stayed at the World Mark time share that my parents are a part of.  Two bedroom , two bathroom place with full kitchen, patio w/grill, gas fire place and lots of room.  We even had our own washer and dryer!
We've stayed there a few times before and it sure beats a hotel and cheaper prices too.
We woke up to this little guy sitting outside our window.  Dallas was so excited!  He sure was a beautiful fox.
It sure was cold!  But we had great weather-nice and sunny and the snow made things so bright.  I really love to VISIT the snow.  :)  I should move to Florida.

Getting all geared up to go sledding.  My least favorite part about winter is dressing the boys to play in the snow.  Toby and I were sweating by the time we had everyone in their gear.
Cute boys.
Put the camera on timer to snatch a fam photo.

"Mom!!!  It's too sunny!!!"  Cute bears in front of the lake.
Dad and the Boys.
Mom and the Boys.  Good thing I look like a giant yellow marshmallow......
Classic photo of the two of us.
Had to throw in another one.  I love this man.
Here's where Dallas pooped out on us.  We went down some pretty steep hills and I think he got scared and had too much snow thrown in his face.  So-we played while he sat in the car.
He's a stud!  Glad to call him mine.  Sappy huh.  :)
He wasn't too sure about the snow.  Wanted to eat it and did not want to wear his gloves. But then he couldn't figure out why his hands were so cold!

Love him.  He truly is such a joy to have in our home.

So hard to capture him when he's smiling.  He moves too fast.

View of the lake.  I was amazed at how far people would walk out.  I didn't want to go too far.  Scaredy cat that I am.

I really enjoyed playing out in the snow.  You sure get tired quickly walking up those hills!!

Notice where Dallas put his shoes?!?!  Cute, but made my slippers wet.
