Date Night!!!

One of the best things about having my family come visit is that Toby and I get to go on a date!!!  It's so easy to slip out when you have people willing to babysit.  :)

The kids played outside while Toby and I went to dinner at Bonefish.  Yum!

Breakfast on the Porch

We bought a little table and chairs for the back patio.  It has been so much fun to eat out there!  I have fond memories of eating breakfast outside.  In Florida, we would eat out by the pool and if Mom had made waffles, the butter would already be melting outside because it was so hot.  We would eat and then jump in the pool.  I loved living in Florida!

The grass is sloooooowly growing in the back.  I'm sure by August we'll have a yard, but not yet.  It's hard to rent and not have much of a say as to what happens to the house, but we still love this place.  It's nice to have a spot for a garden and be able to have dinners outside.

5 weeks

 My friend Lindy took some photos for me of Baby Blue when he was 5 weeks old.  He wasn't being very cooperative, but she managed to get some cute ones!  Thanks Lindy, I love them!!

 Isn't it amazing what black and white can do?  You would never know that he was wrapped up in a PINK scarf!  Hope I have a girl so she can take some in color!

 My friend Joelle got Harrison this cute owl hat.  Love it!

Happy Birthday!!!

 Happy 31 years Toby!!! 

 We had Tory and Elizabeth and the kids over for yummy steak dinners.  It was fun to get together and celebrate the boys' birthdays. 

The D Man with his Dad.  His shirt says, "My Dad is the MAN."  Thought it was quite appropriate for the day.  :)  Toby let me take a nap after church which was great and he cleaned the kitchen too!!  Good thing I got him 8 rounds of golf and 8 buckets of balls as a birthday present. 

Happy Birthday my love!  So glad I get to celebrate with you.  I love you dearly.

Is it SuMmEr yet!?!?!

 Today it was finally warm enough (and we're sick of waiting for good weather) to get in our swimsuits and get wet!!  We filled up the pool we bought last night and the boys got to swim.  Even Dad joined them in a little fun.  Not to mention that Dallas SOAKED Toby while he was filling it.  Might as well join them if he's going to get wet anyways.  I filled a few buckets with hot water so it wasn't so cold. 

 My boys sure are water babies!  I am excited to use this all summer and have fun outside.  It's so nice to be in a home that allows me to do this.  But, I will be missing the apartment pool.  :(

Love him!!!  He is an amazing helper for just being 3.  I can't believe all that he does to help me around the house.  Such a great big brother.

Happy Birthday Lunch

We tagged along with Tory and Elizabeth to the Cracker Barrel for lunch today.  They go for breakfast for all the birthdays, but we did lunch instead because the boys went golfing this morning.  We are celebrating Toby and Tory turning the big 31 tomorrow!

Blue and the twins slept through most of the lunch.  I can't believe we took all 7 kids out to eat!  And they're all under the age of 5.  We're crazy.  :)

Tried to get all the kids to look at us......what a joke.  Still, it was so cute to see the kid lined up!

All 7 kids.  They sure made people stop and stare at us.  Lots of little kiddos.

Now we have two groups-the big kids and the babies.  Funny how they could all still be called babies!  Max is on the left and Luke is on the right.  They are a little over 4 months older than Harrison. 

"I can't see!"

We bought a little plastic pool for the boys and when we put it in the car, it had to cover Dallas in order to fit.  All the way home the only thing we heard was, "I can't see!"  It was so dang funny.  Dallas was completely covered by the pool.  We finally turned on the car lights and then we heard, "Oh fish!  I see fish!"  Hopefully we'll get some good usage out of this pool.....if only it would decide to be summer time.

Dallas wanted to hold Blue and he did such a good job!  He is a great big brother and very kind to Harrison.  It's so neat to see them all interact and know that they will have the chance to grow up together.  I sure hope they are the best of friends.

What Happens When....

I am taking care of the baby and my boys are left free to wander......

 Nasty, thick, and greasy cream is all over Wesley's face hair and clothes.  Wonder where he got it from???  His lovely big brother Dallas who told me he was helping Wes.  Thanks dude.  Now I know better to ask exactly HOW you're helping your brother......
