Mummy Shirts with Googly Eyes
Yup-got to love Pinterest. Dare I say it's better than blog hopping?!?! Yup.
A Little Tipsy created ADORABLE Halloween shirts and shared a tutorial too!!! I had all the supplies on hand and when my mom was in town, she helped me make them for Dallas and Wes.
They were so easy to make. It didn't take us long to make them and it was a lot of fun to do.
My cute mom holding one of the shirts.
We used hot glue for the eyes.
Done!
Cute boys. I love to do crafts and am so grateful for those who are willing to share their talents! Thanks A Little Tipsy!

Monday Night FHE
We decorated little Halloween figurines for FHE tonight. It was quite the experience. My children are amazing artists....they can take any color and make it black. Just kidding--we really did have a fun time.
This kid is a mess. ALWAYS.

Stuffed Green Peppers---from our GARDEN!!
Having our own garden has been such a joy this year. It is amazing to think that we grew something and then get to eat it! Tonight we harvested our green peppers and made stuffed green peppers. I'll add the recipe to our family cooking blog-it really was yummy. We used peppers, tomatoes and onions from our garden for our meal.
This was our baby pepper. It was just the right size for Dallas and he actually ate it!!! I was shocked. I didn't think he would eat it, but he did. Wes is another story-that kid won't eat anything unless it has sugar on it. (wonder where he gets that from.....probably me!)
I try and let the boys pick all the fresh stuff instead of me going out there. It is so fun to see them get all excited. We pick tomatoes on a daily basis. I will be sad when they are all gone.
Look at that green goodness!
6. That's all we got from our two plants, but that's okay. We have some friends here who didn't get any this year so I'm not complaining. Don't they look pretty?
I let Dallas wash the peppers and then stuff them as well. My stove was a mess, but it was fun seeing him help me.
All ready to go in the oven.
Dallas'. Isn't it awesome?! We had a great dinner--Stuffed Peppers, bread and applesauce. It's a tradition to serve breadsticks and applesauce with this meal. Funny how I hated this meal as a kid and now I'll actually put it on the menu. Guess our taste buds change.
