Meeting the Boys

Luckily the NICU had lifted the ban on visitors for the season.  During the winter only the parents and adults are allowed in the unit due to RSV season.  But they had just decided to lift the ban so the boys could meet their brother!
I think they weren't quite sure what to think of him.  He had an IV in and was under the lights.  Dallas even said that he looked blue since the Bili lights give off a blue glow.  Wes just wanted to squeeze and poke him.

They will all be such great buddies.  Dallas and Wesley already play together and love being by each other.  I can't wait to see that same thing with Harrison.

Baby Blue!!!

Baby's Here!!!

 Birth Story to come......

Bright and early-let's have a baby!

Just give me the meds and I'll be fine.
He's here!!!  Toby cutting the cord after helping Dr. Chasan deliver the babe.

Welcome to the world!!!  3:35 pm

screaming for his momma

Biggest baby yet!  8lbs. 8.6 oz.  And he was a week early!!!

Getting all cleaned up-we knew he was going to go to the NICU and was hoping to get him clean before they whisked him away.  Poor Wesley didn't get a bath for 3 days after he was born.  We didn't want that happening to Harrison.

Checking out my baby.  Can't believe I'm a momma of 3!

Toby and Dr. Chasan.  I really love her and think she is a wonderful doctor.
The proud Daddy

Lovey holding her newest love.  So thankful she could be here for the birth.  It was great to have my two favorite people there with me.

Technology is amazing.  Holding his 10 minute old son and txting about it.

about to be a family of 5

Here I am in all my pregnancy glory.  Ready to go at 7am.

Last family photo as a foursome.  Love that Wes and Dallas literally woke up 5 minutes before we took this.  Poor kids.  Didn't want to be awake at 6:30 in the morning!

But they were happy!!  Going to play at Jack's house all day.  Love their shirts.  :)

Mother's Day

Toby made me a chocolate cake for Mother's Day.  It was super yummy.

My two beautiful (snot sickness and all) kids.  Can't believe that I'm a mom.  Words can't describe what my life has been like since having kids.  I never knew I could work so hard in my life.  I am blessed to have them and I am thankful for their constant forgiveness.

Everyday they teach me something and I am grateful for the unconditional love they give me.  I am their best buddy and Dallas gives the best hugs.  The other day we were playing and he looks at me and asks, "How's the baby Mom?"  He wanted to know if the babe in my belly was doing well.  He truly is a sweet boy.

And I am so thankful for Wes.  I wondered how I would love him as much as I love Dallas and now that question makes no sense!  I love my boys so very much and I know I'll love this new baby boy the same.  Motherhood is quite a ride and I'm thankful for the opportunity to be on it!

Happy Mother's Day to everyone.  My dear sweet Mother and Toby's Mom.  Love you both.

Memories Outside

These photos are just to remind me of fun times that we have as a family.  Both boys look like they've had a full day of fun and they are getting over colds so pardon the snot on EVERYTHING.  Wesley LOVES balls.  He is starting to talk more and he will say ball over and over until I find him one.  He loves balls the way Dallas loves cars.

"I wanna be like you........."  If Daddy is doing something, the boys want to follow.  Hence I have a million photos of Toby mowing the lawn and boy boys trailing after him..

Running in the yard WITH socks on because he ripped his toe open and couldn't wear shoes for a few days and I didn't want him going barefoot either.  Guess I always wanted to have white/green socks for my kids.

Not sure what is going on here, but he sure was happy.  Singing/screaming mix of joy.  Love how his tongue is sticking out.

Cute little back shot.  This kid gives me a run for my money.  I'm a bit worried to see how he'll react to the new baby.....he will definitely need some one on one time.  Poor middle child.

Jammies

Moments like this are a bit of heaven.  Then it all goes to pot.  :)

Loving these jammies I found at Costco.

Will my kids ever not look like rags and will they ever not have goosebumps on their heads?!?!!?  They are so dang active and clearly bump/fall/scrap/run into/stub/hit into everything and always are sprouting new bruises.  Glad no one has called CPS on me yet!

Bliss.  For only a minute, but still.

Too bad Wes wouldn't let me take a photo of his jams.  They say "Little Brother" even though on Tuesday he'll be both a little and big brother!

Tulips

Planted some bulbs in a pot by my front door area and they are blooming!  Still have a few more bulbs to pop, but I am loving the colors.  It's so great to be in a home (even if we're renting) where I am able to plant a garden and flowers.  Now if I could only get the owners to put in grass in the back yard we'd be set!

Randoms

Doing laundry and had it sorted out in the hall.  Wes is my burp cloth baby-he loves them and carries them around all day.  Caught him on the floor with as many as he could hold.

He is getting so dang big.  Can't believe he'll be 3 on the 27th of this month.  Can't believe I'll have 3 under 3 for a short while.  Can't believe I'm having another boy!

 cute, cheesy smile.

Random tulips by the mail box.  It was a pleasant surprise when they started to bloom.  I love flowers but have only planted a few tulips by my front door.  I was happy to see some color in the yard.

Dark, but fun to see something pretty next to our awesome house mailbox.  And no--we didn't pick that out ourselves.  It was there when we rented the house.  If I were to pick out a mailbox, it would be Steelers.  :)  just kidding.

Meet our unwelcome neighbor

Guess who I spotted out in my front yard tree????

Our annoying but beautiful woodpecker friend.  Let's just hope he doesn't make a home in that said front yard tree.......

Almost Time

Went to my last ob appointment today.  Of course my doc has to be on vacation till Monday and my peds doc has to be on vacation till next week as well.

Therefore, her nurse checked me and did the all the usual things.  I am dilated to a 4 and 98% effaced.  She thinks there's a pretty good chance that I won't make it till Tuesday the 10th which is my induction date.

I am freaking out!  She also said that if I do go on my own (which would put me at a little under two weeks early-I am originally due on May 17th) it would go very quickly and I might not have time for an epidural.  WHAT?!?!  I NEED drugs.  I'm no good when it comes to pain.  The only good thing--is that she said it would happen so fast that it would over before I even realized how bad it hurt.  She told me to be more worried about actually making it to the hospital.

So, think I will be staying off my feet as much as possible and getting things ready for baby.  Haven't washed any of his clothes or gone to the storage shed for his carseat and bedding.  This kid is coming and I am so not ready.

Wish me luck (and that I make it in time for the meds)

And Toby's on call this weekend.....lovely.
