but barely.
we've moved and my life is a mess. when i get the internet, i have a million photos and things to say.
but until then-i am alive and loving having a bigger (although still rented) place to call home.

Trip to the ER
Well-we made our first trip to the ER last night. Dallas shoved a rock out of his nose and despite everything----we couldn’t get it out ourselves. I googled “how to get a rock out” and tried the suggestions but nothing worked. We even went to the Cath Lab and used the electronic nose sucker thing and that didn’t work! So we packed the kids up and headed out. It was 10:30 pm. I knew we’d be there for a while. Great way to spend out evening.
Here here is happy as can be, waiting to be seen. I didn’t have my camera so these are taken with Toby’s phone. The ER is one busy and crazy place.
There’s the rock!!! The doctor came in and had him lay on his side while Toby held down his body and a nurse held his head down. He used this tool that had a small hook thing on the end and went up his nose and pulled it out. It took a few times to get it, but it came out. Dallas did such a good job. They put the rock in a container for him and he shook it the whole way to the car. We’ve had many talks about NOT PUTTING THINGS UP NOSES!!! Hopefully this will be our only experience.
The doc said they get at least one kid in per night with something up their noses. And did you know that beans can actually sprout!?!?! I didn’t know that. Glad it wasn’t a bean and glad we were able to get it out. I wonder if this will be our last time in the ER……..

The boy and his mother
Can I get ONE DECENT PHOTO WITH MY OLDEST SON?!?!?!?!?! The answer is no. Here’s why.
Don’t want to look at the camera mom
Fine, I’ll look but I’ll look like a dork.
No kisses in public!!! And he just realized that eating sand doesn’t taste so good.
Thanks hun-for getting my best side.
And for helping me get Dallas to smile.
Yes-this is how our relationship is. He makes me CRAZY.
And this is where I about lost it. There is SAND all OVER ME! Down my shirt, in my hair and I am done with photos. Thanks Dallas for the little photo shoot of perfectly taken photos of you and I. Glad you could cooperate with me. Love you too.

TRYING to get a good family photo
We wanted to get a new family photo since it had been a while. I thought that Cannon Beach would be a great place since it had Haystack Rock. Well, trying to get a family photo with no one taking it is kind of hard. I would set up the camera and then try to run and pose and Toby trying to hold both boys till I get there, and stupid people walking by and the boys not looking and and and……Here is what we got. Funny how the very first photo was my favorite.
And I deleted the really bad ones-no need to show all of our ugly sides!!!

Rockaway Beach Day
We knew we wanted this to be a relaxing vacation so we decided to spend one whole day at our condo just playing at the beach. So glad we did! We just happened to choose the best day as well. We had sun all day and minimal wind!! What a great day. I think this was my favorite day of the whole vacation.
Twin Rocks-they were pretty and made for a nice shot in the background.
It was so nice to have our umbrella. It kept the wind completely out and made for a nice warm spot when the sun came out. Wesley was mad when we would leave him and was happy when I would let him eat the sand. Go figure.
Before it started to warm up. I put sunscreen on everyone and good thing I did! Toby got sunburned on his face and arms.
LOVE THIS PHOTO!!!! Can I just say how much I love this man?!?!? He makes me so happy.
Toby was helping Dallas make a jump for his trucks. What a good dad.
There it goes!
Just liked this photo. My boys in the background with the water, and the bright green of the watering can. I truly love the sand.
Playing Peek-A-Boo with my boys.
:) Got it right before the wave came in.
