crap

That was the first word that came to mind.

I feel like crap.  I'm tired and my pelvis hurts like no other.  It hurts to walk, sit, lay down, get out of bed, do anything physical.

I had my 33 week doc appointment today and I'm dilated to a 3 already.  Doc told me to stay off my feet as often as I can (like that is totally doable) and we'll check next appointment.  If I am any more dilated or effaced, then we'll talk about some kind of modified bed rest.  We at least want to make it to 37-38 weeks.  I'm not too worried about going early on my own, but we'll see.

The closer I get to my due date, the meaner and grouchier I become.  Don't know why I'm so beastly this time around, but don't get on my bad side.  My poor kids.

Luckily I have my Mom and two of my sisters coming to visit this weekend.  They are staying a whole week and I know that I'll have help with the boys.  Yahoo.  And I always feel lucky to hang out with my Mom.  She's my best friend (besides the Tobster) and I love to spend time with her.

So, grouchy me just got a present.  Toby made me an orange julius.  yum.  He's a keeper.

camera card missing.....

Boo-I can't find my camera sd cards anywhere!!!  So here is a post with no photos, but things I wanted to write down for the week.

We started getting ready for our garden.  We've never had the chance to grow a garden until we rented this house so yesterday we got the soil all turned and ready.  Toby has some good friends who are avid gardeners and they use llama poo as a fertilizer.  They offered to share some with us (how nice-sharing poop) and we'll add that to our garden.  Looking forward to growing something!

I bought Dallas some gardening tools and he helped me plant some tulips in our front yard.  I didn't plant bulbs this fall, but Wal Mart had some already to plant and they will bloom soon.  I'm so excited to have flowers in the yard!  Dallas has had a ton of fun "playing" in the dirt with me.

They boys are playing so good (and I use that term loosely) the past few days.  We've had some biting and hitting, but it's fun to see them play.  I know they will be good playmates this summer, especially when I am busy with the new babe.  I've been debating on putting Dallas in preschool this fall and I still am not sure what I'll do.  I know that once I put him in school, it's all over and he'll be in school for the rest of his life!  Exciting that he is growing up, but makes me a bit sad too.

Bambino #3 is wearing out his welcome fast.  I know that it's a whole lot easier to take care of him inside rather than outside, but I'm ready to be done.  I've hard some pretty hard and uncomfortable contractions which can mean nothing but they hurt.  I only have 7 1/2 weeks left.....which means I actually have 6 1/2 weeks since I'll be induced a week early.  That's not long and I really am starting to get excited/nervous/freaking out/ect.  We haven't decided on a name, which is so typical of us.  I have all sorts of names floating around, but can never quite decide until the baby comes.  But we are planning on having his middle name be Blue.  I don't care what others say-we're happy with it and Dallas is ecstatic.  Even Toby loves the name.  I know some certain family members don't like it, but I didn't have a say in what their kids' names are nor did I give birth to them.  Just saying.

The weather here sucks.  I waiting for the sun to come and find Boise so we can get outside and play.  The parks are always too wet and cold.  Spring you can come now!!!!

playin' in the rain

Ran to Costco last night and it was POURING!!!  I told Dallas that he could jump in the puddles when we got home and that's what they did!  Wes learned that he doesn't like to eat dirt.

This was a huge puddle.  He loved the fact that I was letting him get all wet.

 Splashin' away.

It was hard to not use my flash.  It wasn't as dark as the above photos show, but when I didn't use my flash they photos were a little bit blurry.

This kid was TICKED that I brought him in the house.  He was not happy with his momma.  Screaming and trying to bite me.  Too bad his hands were beat red and his nose running and the fact that he was soaking wet!!!

In the tub they go.  Bubble bath made it all better.

 Love the hat.

 Brotherly love.

He refused to smile for me.  This is as close to a happy smile that he would give me.

Eating the bubbles.  How come I can't get him to eat normal food?!?!

Happy Boy.

Pooh bear covered in bubbles and then all clean!  Dallas wanted me to document that.  :)

Fun and cold night.  Good thing for warm baths!

Spring Please

We are so ready for spring---we can't wait.  And we don't even live in an area that is bad during the winters!  This is nothing like the college days in Rexburg, but we are tired of it being cold and dreary.  We played with chalk and cars and Daddy raked the yard.

Dallas LOVES cars.  Anything with wheels and he is a happy man.  Right now we are trying to collect all the cars from the movie Cars.  Hopefully with movie #2 coming out this summer, I'll be able to find them all.

 Happy boy-covered in chalk.

Wes thought he'd help Dad rake.

Trying to rake up all the dead stuff.  I'd really like my lawn to be pretty this summer.

The side of our house.  Wish the owners would do something with this.  As well as get the back yard growing.  I would love to be able to have the boys play back there.  Someday we'll have our own house.......
But for now, the boys can dig in the dirt.

Who needs girls

 to paint toes with?

Dallas had my sisters paint his toes this past summer and every once in a while, he asks me to do it.  I don't mind doing it since it seems to come off so quickly.

However, today he wanted to paint my toes so I let him.  Not bad for a 2 1/2 year old!!!  He was so proud of himself.  :)

 "Look Mom!  I did it!"

So then he wanted to paint Daddy's.  Don't mind the black fuzz in between his toes.  He did a great job on Toby's.
Friday night family date-milkshakes and painted toes!

green day

Hope you all had a great St. Patty's Day.  We wore green, made shamrock cookies and that's it.  Maybe next year I'll do something cute for the boys.  But this year we just chilled.

Dallas was so excited to get the mail yesterday.  He got a package from Lovey!!!  Inside were yummy cookies ready to eat.  My sweet Mom thought that I'd be too tired to make them (which I totally was) and sent some to us.  Too bad I had already made the dough before I got the mail!!  I would have just slapped those bad boys on a plate and let Toby think I did all the work.  :)  Just kidding.
We game some of our cookies away so it was great to have more to eat at home.

Yum!  I tried to get him to smile for me, but he was shoving cookies as fast as he could in his mouth.

These are the ones I made.  I tried the "flooding" technique again.  I really like how they look and need to work on making my outline a bit smaller.  Still-they turned out cute.

Had to throw on of Wes in.  He's such a happy little boy.  And so dramatic too.  Good thing he's a keeper!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Do you know how painful it was to capture this photo!??!?!  Good thing I think he is super cute.  :)

 Love him.

 Sweet cheeks!!!

LUCKY

Found this cute little craft over at Auntie Lolo Crafts and decided to copy her and make me one.  She already had the file ready to copy into my SCAL and all I had to do was figure out what size I wanted and what to put it on.  Literally took me 5 minutes to create.  I LOVE people who share their crafts.  I'm not much for coming up with stuff on my own, but I sure am good at copying!!!  Isn't that the best form of flattery??  At least I always give credit.

I decided to put it in my kitchen.  I added the throw up felt ball in just for the photo.  :)

Here are my "lucky" blocks.  I used the same font as the plate.  Thought it was a cute whimsical font.  Not sure if I like them as much as my Valentine blocks, but they are still pretty cute.  It's fun to use the blocks that my grandpa cut for me and I have so many other ideas to use them.  This also didn't take much time to make and I just need to figure out where to put them.

I think I'll leave them on my piano.  And I love how I have my Mom and Babe statue in the background.  I truly am lucky to be a Mother.

Lent

Don't really do Lent, but this year I am!!!  We'll see how many days out of the 40 that actually get accomplished but I will be trying.

My sis-in-law Tara shared with me this awesome blog called Clover Lane.  LOVE this lady.  She is so wise and has great advice and is a down to earth mother.  No fluff from her.  She chooses to declutter her her house in 40 days for Lent.  Splits up her home in the 40 areas and then gets busy decluttering, cleaning and organizing.  Sounds like something I need to do.

So here's the link to what I will be following.
Declutter: 40 Bags In 40 Days

little obsessed.....

With stupid felt rosette balls!
Made these and haven't quite decided where I want them.  They are just so easy and fun to make, I find myself making them for every holiday.  Think that's a problem!?!?!?!?  Might be.

Anyways, thought I'd get some photos up of a my holiday decor.  I have more, but only took photos of my table.  We love St. Patrick's Day due to my Dad's side being 100% pure Irish.  There aren't a lot of cute ideas out there in blog land so I don't have too much to share.  I will take photos of the rest of my house and put those up when I get time.

Little shamrock I found at Hobby Lobby and then wreath is from Target.

Cute little wood sign from TJ Maxx.

***Thanks for the comments and e-mails.  I'm doing well-just had to vent.  Every women who has ever been pregnant knows exactly how I feel.  Although when this kid gets here, I'll be wishing he was back in my belly!!!  They are easier to take care of inside than out.  :)

And for those of you who are jumping on the band wagon with the quote, "Keep Calm and Carry On" here is a version for Green Day.  Found at the Hands On Housewife's blog.

exhausted

30 weeks preggo.  10 weeks left.  (really only 9 because they are taking me a week early due to my children ALWAYS GOING TO THE NICU....more on that later)

I am EXHAUSTED.  Like first tri exhaustion.

I can't sleep at night anymore, I have to go to the bathroom all.the.stinkin'.time, and my body hurts.  This pregnancy was super tough in the beginning and and easy in the middle but now it's a pain in the butt.  I am ready to be done.  I've never said that with the first two, but get this kid out of me.  He has worn out his welcome and I swear the other day he pinched me.

We have to have a few more ultrasounds set up to make sure this kid has flipped (he is/was breech) and to check his blood flow and what not.  Hope all goes well.

I am praying that I get the "nesting" bug here soon.  It takes all my energy to get the kids ready for the day and just focus on them.  I only wear makeup and do my hair if I'm going to church.

On a good note, I have bought this kid nothing.  Nothing!!!  No clothes, blankets, shoes, toys, furniture, junk, nada.  Guess that's one perk to having three boys.  He is due the same month Dallas was born in so I already have everything I need.  And then there is all of Wes' opposite season stuff as well.  All I'll be buying for this kid will be diapers.

Oh and we're going round and round trying to come up with names.  I really loved Lucas, but there are too many Luke's/Lucas' out there and I don't want a super popular name.  Now I am really stuck with no good ideas.  All we've come up with so far is the middle name Blue.  Ha ha.  Dallas has been telling me to name him Blue this whole pregnancy and now Toby is jumping on the band wagon.  Since I would never name my kid Blue, they want it for a middle name.  They almost have me convinced......

***and Mom, I've made some "lucky" blocks (made you a set-keep your fingers crossed that I send it before St. Pat's day) some felt green rosette balls hung with ribbon and a cute little shamrock plate with vinyl lettering (have one of those for you too).  I am also working on some shirts for the boys as well.  See?!?  I'm crafting!  I'm just too lazy to take photos and post them.  Hopefully I'll do that before St. Pat's day as well.

Long enough post-I'm kind of grouchy.  can you tell?!?!?!!?

Quick Visit

We had visitors last night!  Grandpa and Grandma Clark were heading home from Spokane and stopped for the night at our house.  The boys were in heaven.  In less than 2 weeks they have seen Lovey and Papa with the girls, Grandma and Grandpa Idaho and now Grandma and Grandpa Clark!  All he needs is a visit from the Hellers (Toby's grandparents) and my Grandma Ginny and he will have seen all the grandparents!

It was a short trip, but we loved having them come and stay.  I heard a few new stories and some old ones.  :)
We had a yummy breakfast and Grandpa topped it off with a package of Reeces' for me and the boys.  Yum.

Thanks for coming-we love you!
