Kool Aid!!!!!

So Megan found this fun idea to color your hair with Kool Aid.  She found it on the internet and bought the stuff and Mom decided that it was okay for the girls-she's not a big fan of changing your hair color.  I'm not either, and have never colored my hair.  Looks great on others, but too much money and upkeep for me!  So, this idea sounded perfect.  It wasn't permanent nor did it damage the hair. 

Notice the time....we were starting at midnight.  We're a little bit crazy around here!  You think we would want to sleep.  (maybe that's just me!)

First we had to put Vaseline around the hair line.  This was going to protect their foreheads from turning red.  It was DISGUSTING,  so glad I had gloves on. 

Mixing the Kool Aid with conditioner. 

Yes, we're crazy. 

Here are Megan's instructions. 

1.  Apply P.J. around ur head 

2.  Add Kool into a small bowl.

3.  Add a few drops of water.

4.  Hair conditioner.

5.  Mix till smooth paste.

6/7.  missing a few-must have been on back.  it said to put in hair evenly

8.  Secure w/tape.

9 Something...then sleep

10.  Wash/condition/wash again

11.  (my fav)  YAY!  A life long dream fu-filled.

We had to wrap their hair once it was done, so the Kool Aid could set in.  Then we had to secure it with tape.  My sisters are nuts.
